Message the manual can be found here: La-Z-Link

however I had a lot of trouble getting it dialed in when I installed mine as well even with the manual. it's not incredibly intuitive so I'll try to break it down better.

The unit default screen is a boost meter that reads out how much boost/vacuum pressure your intake manifold is experiencing.

to set the SET value you can just turn the dial knob while the boost meter is displayed. the SET value is a percent between 1-100 that controls how much boost you run. As for why they made it a percent and not a psi or kpa value I dont know. I also dont know if this is correct or not but I believe 0% represents a wastegate which will be open 100% of the time, and a value of 100% will leave your wastegate closed 100% of the time. Either way I would play with this number first. Set it to 20% (turn the knob to change valeu, press the knob to lock it in) to start and increase by 5% untill you hit the boost you desire (measured by your non-stock boost guage under Wide Open Throttle).

Use the mode button to access the rest of the parameters, turn the knob to change them, and dont forget to press the knob to save your setting

The GAIN value I believe somehow controls the frequency at which the EBC pulses the wastegate. Whether that's true or not doesn't matter I suppose, you adjust the value to controll fall-off. Meaning if you hit 15 psi then slowly fall down to 13.5psi you can raise your GAIN value to compensate. This number is usually between 3%-15% I think for most people. Keep it as low as possible without experiencing fall-off.

The SET GAIN is also referred to as START BOOST by most people because it more accurately describes what the function does. Basically the way your EBC works is by modulating the wastegate open and closed really fast, however if you are under WOT and your wastegate is flapping open and closed it doesn't really have the greatest effect on your spool up. SET GAIN comes to the rescue by letting you set a value to control at what boost level the EBC will begin modulating. Before this value is reached your wastegate will be held closed (Turbo engaged). This value is easy because it's actually set as a value of PSI or kPA depending on which you have your unit set up for. You want to set it as close to your desired boost as possible without getting boost spikes. If your boost does spike (IE: shoot's to 17 then come back to 15 and hold steady) then you need to adjust this value.

That's basically how to set it up. The rest of the values are either just user preference (Peak % Last boost) or safety features (Warning & Limiter) so I'll just give a brief description of each.

PEAK HOLD - Displays the highest boost you have reached since the last time you reset it (hold in the knob to reset it)

LAST BOOST - Will blink the highest boost you achieved when you let of the accellerator after a WOT run.

WARNING - Value in PSI or kPA that you do not wish to exceed. If you do reach this boost level the screen will turn red and it will trip the limiter if you have one set

LIMITER - a percent value to retard your boost by if you hit the Warning level. if you set this to 30% the EBC will limit you to 70% of what you were running if that makes sense.
